Insights:

  • Shrek & SpongeBob raves have gained traction on social media due to the nostalgia & emotional connection people have to these franchises.

  • Shrek memes have become integral to internet culture and there are constantly new ones being created as time goes on - this gives an opportunity for this campaign to become contagious & stick!

A Special Shrek Snapchat filter connecting fans with the beloved Mirror character to discover their perfect match from the Shrek universe. Some users will be matched with a mystery character, teasing a new addition in the upcoming movie. Those with a mystery match will get an exclusive reveal video once the movie is released, building excitement and keeping fans engaged.

  • This exclusive poster will be given to those attending Shrek Fest as a way to connect & give the fans back a special gift for being loyal fans.

  • The Shrek Swamp Stump Popcorn Bucket is a whimsical, AR-capable collectible designed on Shrek’s iconic swamp. Shrek himself stands proudly on top of the stump, animated through augmented reality to either shout at "trespassers" or share a sweet moment with Fiona. This bucket comes with a serving of special green swamp popcorn.
